One question I have is about how this is helping learners extract information, but is it helping them interact with the reading? (Thinking about this idea from Beers and Prost, Disrupting thinking as I am working on a workshop activity about reading and text activities in general ed. classrooms.) I love so many things about this, but I wonder if this focuss more on just comprehension (which is super important- don't get me wrong!) but leaves out opportunities to think/feel/wonder/connect/interact.

I use this strategy all the time in my room! Students think it’s simple AND effective, and I can see positive results every single time we do it.
