You’ll know if this is for you when you open it...
A different kind of checklist
Hi there,
This email is a little different from what I usually send.
I realize that you signed up for teaching ideas, multilingual learner strategies, and belonging-centered practices, so feel free to skip this one if this doesn’t speak to you.
At the same time, I imagine many of you are quietly looking for a simple way to earn extra income that doesn’t involve tutoring, grading, or giving up more of your already-stretched evenings.
And in full transparency:
I recently started a side gig myself, and it’s opened up new learning, new community, leadership opportunities, and extra income. It reminded me how important it is for teachers to have options and permission to explore what could make life better.
So I created something to help you think through possibilities:
👉 The Smart Teacher’s Side Gig Checklist
A simple guide to help you evaluate whether a side gig is flexible, sustainable, aligned with your values, and actually worth your time.
This checklist could help you find a gig with more flexibility… more opportunities for leadership and creativity… or even a pathway to supporting your future retirement?
If you’d like the checklist, just click below, and I’ll send it right to your inbox:
👉 Yes, send me the Smart Teacher’s Side Gig Checklist
If you’re not interested, simply ignore this email, and I’ll be back next week with my usual teacher content. Enjoy your well-deserved break.
I’m cheering you on.
Warmly,
Marilee
